Deep Tissue Massage
Slow, specific pressure into the deeper layers that hold chronic tension, warmed up to rather than forced.
Deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, cupping and Reiki from Isaac Clipper, CMT: one certified therapist in east Chico who works on what your body is actually asking for.
Kinetic Freedom is Isaac Clipper, a California Certified Massage Therapist and Reiki Master working out of a single quiet room on Manzanita Avenue in east Chico.
There's no front desk, no upsell, no therapist you've never met. You book a time, you say what hurts, and the session gets built around that. Pressure gets checked as the work goes; if something needs to change, it changes.
Clients come in with the ordinary things: a low back that's been complaining for months, a neck that lives at a desk, a hip that flares after long runs. They come in with the harder ones too, including recovery after a collision. The approach is the same either way: find where the tension actually lives, warm it, and give it somewhere to go.
Every session is tailored, and most draw on more than one of these. You book a length; the mix is decided at the start, around what hurts.
Slow, specific pressure into the deeper layers that hold chronic tension, warmed up to rather than forced.
For training blocks, race build-ups and the weeks after: the legs, hips and shoulders that do the work.
Sustained work on the connective tissue that wraps every muscle, for areas that feel stuck rather than sore.
Suction that lifts tissue instead of pressing it, worked into a massage when an area calls for it.
Every massage is therapeutic massage tailored to your specific needs. What changes is how much ground there's time to cover.
A focused session for one stubborn area: a locked-up neck, a tight low back, a shoulder that won't let go.
Lower time frames can be beneficial for targeted and specific work for designated areas of pain and problems.
The most-booked session. Enough time to address what hurts and still travel across the rest of the body.
Longer appointments (60+ mins.) are great for spending more time on your specific areas of need and also allow for more time to reach more of your body for a broader reach of therapeutic work.
Full-body depth. Time to warm the tissue properly, work slowly, and let the nervous system catch up.

Reiki healing to help promote relaxation and provide management of stressful and painful emotions.
Reiki is received fully clothed, lying comfortably on the table. There's no oil, no deep pressure, and nothing to prepare for. The session is quiet, still, and yours to spend however you need to spend it.
Isaac is a Reiki Master and offers it as its own booking, not an add-on: 30 minutes for $55, 45 minutes for $75 or 60 minutes for $85.
The things clients write about in their reviews, and how a session goes about each one.
Desk necks, shoulders creeping toward the ears, and the stiffness that follows a long week.
A low back that has been complaining for months, and pain that runs into the hip and leg.
Hips that flare after long runs, tight hamstrings and calves, the legs runners and cyclists lean on.
Tension that climbs from the shoulders into the base of the skull and the jaw.
The stiffness that arrives a week later. Clients have had Isaac work alongside their attorney and insurer.
When the body is fine but the nervous system will not stand down. Massage, or Reiki on its own.
Square shows Isaac's real availability. Pick a length and a time and you're confirmed instantly, minimum two hours ahead.
Before anything else, a conversation: what's flaring, what caused it, what you've already tried. That's what shapes the hour.
Warm the tissue, find the tension, work it slowly. You're draped throughout, and the pressure is yours to adjust at any point.
Fifteen minutes of buffer sits after every appointment, so nobody is rushed off the table and out the door.
Suite 5 is one room, and it is unmistakably somebody's. Sri Yantra and Flower-of-Life pieces on the walls, a salt lamp in the corner, an anatomy chart next to the framed certificates, and a lit galaxy panel overhead for the part of the hour you spend face-up.
There's no waiting room, no music you didn't choose, and nobody else's appointment running over into yours. Cupping, foam rollers and bolsters are all in arm's reach when the work calls for them.
