Your visit
Nobody should have to guess how an appointment works. Here is the whole thing, start to finish, including the parts most places leave off the website.
What actually happens
Booking
Everything runs through Square, which shows real availability rather than a request form. Choose a service and a length, pick a slot, done. Confirmed instantly, no deposit taken. Bookings need at least 2 hours of notice and can be made up to 12 months ahead. If you'd rather talk it through, call (530) 715-1180.
Arriving
Kinetic Freedom is at 580 Manzanita Ave, Suite 5. Allow an extra minute or two the first time to find Suite 5 within the complex. Arriving five minutes early gives you time to settle; arriving late unfortunately shortens the session rather than the one after it.
The intake
Before any work starts, a real conversation: what hurts, how long it's been going on, what makes it worse, what you've already tried, and what you want out of the hour. Bring the details: surgeries, injuries, an accident, a diagnosis, a race next weekend. All of it changes the plan.
On the table
You undress to your level of comfort and get under the sheet. You are draped throughout and only the area being worked on is ever uncovered. Isaac warms the tissue before going deeper, and checks pressure as he goes. “Too much” and “more, please” are both useful information, at any point.
Afterwards
Fifteen minutes of buffer sits after every appointment, so you're not being hurried out while the next person waits. Drink water, take the stairs slowly, and expect to feel it settle over the next day.
Paying
Payment happens in the studio through Square. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay and Square Pay are all accepted. Sales tax of 7.25% is added at checkout. Gift cards can be redeemed against any session.
Small things worth saying out loud.
You can change your mind mid-session. Pressure, focus area, music, conversation, silence: all of it is adjustable while the work is happening.
Talking is optional. Some clients chat the whole hour; others say nothing after the intake. Both are completely fine.
Tell him about the accident. Clients have worked with Isaac after collisions, coordinating directly with their attorney and insurer. Raise it before booking so the paperwork is clear up front.
If you're ill, reschedule. A single-practitioner studio has no cover. Message ahead and the appointment gets moved, no argument.
The policy, plainly
A late cancellation at a one-person practice is an hour that can't be offered to anyone else, hence the notice period.
Questions people actually ask
Booking is handled online through Square, which shows Isaac's real-time availability. Choose your service and length, pick a time, and you're confirmed instantly. There is no waiting on a callback.
Appointments must be booked at least 2 hours ahead, and can be scheduled up to a year in advance. If you'd rather speak to someone, call (530) 715-1180.
You'll talk through what brought you in (the pain, the history, the activities that aggravate it) before any work begins. That conversation shapes the session.
You undress to your level of comfort and are draped throughout; only the area being worked on is uncovered. Pressure is checked as the session goes, and you can change it at any point.
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel a booking. You can do it yourself from the confirmation Square sends you, without having to call.
Kinetic Freedom is a single-practitioner practice, so a late cancellation is an hour that cannot be offered to anyone else. The notice genuinely matters.
Sessions run from 30 to 120 minutes. In Isaac's own words: shorter appointments under 60 minutes are best for targeted, specific work on designated areas of pain; appointments of 60 minutes and up allow more time on your areas of need while still reaching more of the body.
If you're unsure, 60 minutes is the most common starting point.
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice received fully clothed, lying comfortably on the table. Isaac is a Reiki Master and offers it in 30, 45 and 60-minute sessions.
It is used to promote relaxation and to help manage stressful and painful emotions. It can be booked on its own; it is not an add-on to massage.
Clients have worked with Isaac following collisions, coordinating directly with their attorney and insurer so they could focus on recovering. Bring the details of your claim to the conversation and he'll tell you what's workable.
